Nirmal Kumar Thapa is a Nepalese author, whose style is distinguished and famous for his philosophical usage in his different from of writings.
He penned several books; Prabhat Pheri Sandhya (Poetry) was published by Nepal Art and Literature Council. Later his series-less novel, Bijaula (2009) raised him as a strong thinker of the contemporary scenario of Nepalese art world.
Ekadeshma, Ekalaap & Ekanata are his trio-story series was well received by the readers and appreciated by critics widely.

Author Thapa had happened to be a director of a poetic documentary The Colours of Poetry produced by Color Nepal CNEP in 2007. He associated and edited prestigious media houses like; Nepalgunj Express, Janamat, Annapurna Post, Shangrila Dialogue, Chintan, Tanneri, Saurya, Navayata, Celestial, Nepal House, Vahaan. His visibility in print and digital media very accidently these days, yet his old articles, essays, memoir and poetry echoed among readers.
Mr. Thapa lives in Kathmandu valley and travel mysteriously around the globe.
Reading his writings like a micro-meditation with the self. His way of expression is very internal and carry global issues. He simply pulled me magnetically by his visible word-crafting and invisible honesty. I admire Mr. Thapa’s works deeply.
