थी कृष्णनारायण सिंह थापाको कुटनीतिक कार्य क्षमता र उहाँले अँगाल्नुभएको भ्रष्टाचारप्रतिको शून्य सहनशीलताको नीतिले उहाँको निष्कलड्ढ छविलाई अझ निखार प्रदान गर्न सफल भएको ठान्दछु ।

खेलका लागि खेल भनेजस्तो, पूर्णरूपमा खुशी भएर खेल्न सकिने हुँदा म स्पोर्टसका अरू खेलहरूमा पहिलेदेखि नै रूचि भए पनि अहिले आएर गल्फसँगको प्रेम अचम्मको छ, बिशेष छ । हारजितको परवाह छैन, जालझेल गर्ने कुरै भएन, बडो आनन्दीमनले रमाएर खेल्छु । यहाँ र अहिले बाँचिरहेको आभाष हुन्छ, सायद त्यही प्रतितीले होला उमेर असी उक्लेर पनि उही ताजापन लिएर हप्ताको तीन-चार पटक अठार होल गल्फ निरन्तर खेलिरहेको छु । वर्तमानमा बाँच्न सक्ने कलाको निमित्त गल्फ त्यही सुहाउँदो खेल भएको छ र म रमाइरहेको छु ।

About the Book

This is a life journey of Lt. Gen. Krishna Narayan Singh Thapa, who was a first Nepalese Force Commander in UN Peace Keeping Mission. Mr. Thapa was famously known for his guts and honesty. He is an icon of many walks of life, from security department to diplomatic world and socio-political span. Nirmal Kumar Thapa composed his audio version and tuned rightly to make one of the finest biographical work ever written in Nepal. 

Generally biographies are self praised books, written by ghost writers with propose and well wishers who see only goodness in central character but this book is remarkable word affairs, talks from school days of Darjeeling to melancholic days of Muga, Dhankuta and old Kathmandu odyssey to month long Ship journey from Kolkotta to London. Additionally Gen. Thapa’s fresh memory took readers easily from London to Kathmandu by overland camper drive. Prolific Nepalese Diplomatic Officer to UN HQ and couple of peace keeping mission Thapa’s sharp and visionary leadership left his footprint. He contributed Nepalese Army in mnay ways. 

Lt. Gen. Thapa’s command to find ground reality of Mustang and surrounding northern parts of Nepal, then affected by Khampa Revolution was historic and heroic. Thapa served as an ADC to former King Mahendra, in book readers can find his time era story with King and royal guard.
